Corporate Finance

Specialization «Corporate Finance» is designed for students who in their business career want to become Chief Financial Officers or take positions (e.g., as project managers) responsible for ensuring that managed by entities are financially secure and profitable, and therefore are on their way to being successful.

Courses are grouped into four segments. After an introduction to corporate finance, you will learn how to manage assets, liabilities, and equity of a company, so that they can achieve their highest profit-generating potential. You will then learn how to evaluate and select projects. Next, we will teach you how to procure funds from lenders, investors, and public institutions, which are becoming more popular. To manage a firm or a project existing within a firm, you need to understand it; therefore, in the third segment, you will be taught how to analyze companies. Your studies will end with two classes devoted to the state-of-the-art simulation game where our business-experienced staff will guide you in a decision-making process associated with managing a business.

Personal Investment Portfolio

Specialization Personal Investment Portfolio is for those who want to become investors as well as investment portfolio and fund managers. Regardless of your or your client’s investment strategies, in the end, you will be ready to successfully build and manage financial portfolios or entire funds.

Courses are grouped into four segments. After an introduction to personal finance, you will be taught about the advantages, disadvantages, and the purpose/role of traditional (e.g., stocks, Exchange Traded Funds, bonds), non-traditional (e.g., minerals, energy, real estate, currencies) and new (e.g., cryptocurrency, NFTs) investment assets. Since real-life investing is as much about psychology as it is about analysis, we will teach you how to manage risk and use behavioral finance to your advantage. After learning how to conduct fundamental and technical analyses of the markets, you will be ready to build your financial portfolios. Since portfolio building and management require practice and experience, the last three courses are devoted to obtaining just that.
