Students majoring in Law in International Relations and Business learn about, among other things: international law, the EU, international trade law, political science, and international relations. The skills acquired allow understanding the most important challenges of the modern world, by combining theoretical legal knowledge with practical skills used in diplomacy and business.

"Law in International Relations" allows development in the area of public international law, the law of diplomatic and consular relations, and EU law, "Law in International Business" allows one to gain knowledge in international and EU economic law, as well as familiarizes with the current challenges of international business.

• gain qualifications that can be used for work in international organizations, preparing for a leadership role shaping legal, political and social changes,

You will study:

• global diplomacy and international relations: you will understand the main processes in international relations, analyzing the complexity of cooperation and conflicts in the international arena;

• European foreign policy: you will learn about the European Union's foreign policy and its external relations, and deepen your knowledge of the EU's role in global relations;

• public policy and diplomacy: you will understand the role of public policy in the international sphere and the promotion of the state's interests in the global arena;

• diplomatic ethics and crisis management: you will gain knowledge of the principles of diplomatic ethics and skills for managing crises and unusual situations;

• risk analysis and international security: you will analyze threats to global security, learning how to effectively manage risk in the context of international relations.

You will gain:

− knowledge and skills in the field of foreign policy: you will acquire practical knowledge of international relations, diplomatic negotiations, and decision-making processes in the international arena,

− prepare for a career in the international sphere: the specialization will allow you to develop the skills needed to work in international institutions, diplomatic service, think tanks or NGOs,

− develop communication and negotiation skills: The specialization "Diplomacy" develops communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, key to working in the field of international relations,

− practical experience: the program offers the opportunity to gain practical experience through internships in embassies, foreign ministries, and think tanks, enabling the practical application of the knowledge gained.

These instructors bring a wealth of practical insights, having actively participated in and navigated the intricate landscape of European diplomacy.

You will gain:

− up-to-date knowledge that responds to great challenges and opportunities of the internationalization and globalization of the contemporary world. 

− the specialization meets the needs and expectations of international students from Europe and from other regions and civilizations of the world. The students are provided with insight into global and European politics through courses taught by professors with degrees from Polish and Western universities, as well as by former diplomats and policymakers. 

− to gain practical professional experience,  students will take internships in IRrelated organizations of their choosing. The choice includes, among others, government agencies, embassies and consulates, offices of intergovernmental organizations, international NGOs, business corporations, and the media. 

The program offers a vibrant extracurricular landscape, showcasing clubs such as the Debate Club, Negotiation Club, and Student Foreign Affairs Club. Through active participation in these clubs, students develop crucial employability skills by organizing debates, negotiations, and meetings with diplomats, industry professionals, alumni, and experts in relevant fields. Furthermore, the program encourages students to collaborate with teachers in organizing conferences.
